This is a nice property that is in a nice area for walking around. There are some nice restaurants within a few blocks (I discovered the next day). The hotel is a convention center and is rather large. Rooms (King) were average and on the small side. But ok for business travel.
Down side: As a person with Celiac I hope to find at least some awareness or education on GF options on a menu. During this stay, I got in around 7 pm and decided to grab a drink at the bar. Asked about GF menu options. *crickets* So the Chef came out and simply said, “We have nothing on the menu that would be GF.” No hey I’m sorry, no usual I can make you a salad, or let me suggest such-and-such restaurant down the street. Then he proceeded to bring out huge platters of specialty cheeseburger French fries for people at the bar that he was testing.
I left and went to bed hungry and thinking that was exceptionally rude.

We stayed here for 3 nights during home week at Kansas State, not our intention, and was it packed! Still, the staff was very friendly, helpful and Mike and Richard in the bar and restaurant outdid themselves ensuring we were well taken care of! Location is great and within walking distance of great restaurants and attractions! We will stay there again for sure!
