Second time posting on TripAdvisor ever.
Staff is very nice. Room is mostly clean. However, bathroom wall has mold on it behind the toilet. A big hole in the bathroom ceiling where the fan is supposed to be and no stopper top in the sink for shaving. Can barely open the door to the bathroom due to warping. No place to hang business clothes. Rod is missing in the closet and the hangers are just thrown in a big pile on top of the closet area. Hotel hot tub is cold and looks like it hasn’t been serviced in a while. It’s upper 60s at night, perfect hot tub weather for someone that needs it due to a bad back from a bad car accident. If the hot tub is not working, please advertise this.
Pool / hot tubs seem to be an issues with many Hilton’s I’ve stayed at recently. Not working at HGI in Tallahassee either. The Hampton Inn in Arlington VA is to cheap to pay for a lifeguard during the morning and day so the pool and hot tub are only open at night. That county requires a lifeguard even for their small indoor pool. My issue is to please advertise these issues. I’ve specifically picked these last three locations due to advertising pools and hot tubs..
Only reason I’m saying that I’m a Diamond Member for over 7 years now is to show that I stay at a lot of Hilton properties across the country. It doesn’t make me proud that I’m away from my family a good amount of the year. Overall from what I’ve seen the last several months, Hilton quality is lacking from what I can see. Not sure if it’s leadership at corporate or just not focusing on quality anymore. I’m Gold at Marriott and will probably give those properties a closer look if Hilton properties don’t start improving.

The room was very nice and the staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and it was close to the southern university campus, the only reason I did not give 4 stars is because it was more expensive than other Hilton garden inns I have stayed at in other cities
