I had chosen this hotel based on pictures and reviews from the internet and was somewhat disappointed. First of all I requested a room with a view of Lake Champlain which looked beautiful on the internet. Our room was on the second floor and while you could see a little of the lake, most of the view was blocked by trees. Secondly, the room appeared much more modern in the pictures. The reality was a small room with an extremely small bathroom and old carpeting. Lastly the customer service was terrible. I had requested a room with no down pillows or blankets as I am allergic to feathers. Unfortunately the room had both. I then spent over a half an hour trying to contact the front desk. I would call and they would ask if they “could put me on a brief hold”. This happened 3 times resulting in being put on hold for 10-15 minutes each time then being disconnected. I finally reached someone who told me they would be up shortly to replace the pillows and blankets. Two and a half hours later I walked down to the desk to ask when they might be coming. The response I received was “oh they weren’t there yet?”. When the young man did finally arrive he was very apologetic and totally remade our beds despite the fact that I told him I would do it. Our room was cleaned very thoroughly the following day as well so overall I would give high reviews for the housekeeping staff but not for the hotel in general.

Hotel is in a good location. Burlington has a lot to do. The hotel itself is tired looking and in need of an update. Carpet in the room stained, dishes in the hallway. Bed was comfortable and there was sufficient hot water.
