We enjoyed our 2 night stay at The High Tide Inn for my husband’s birthday very much, Jo and Dean were wonderful hosts.
Jo surprised my husband with a happy birthday wish and a delicious jar of blueberry jam, very thoughtful - thanks again.
Room 8 had a comfy king sized bed, was private and had a lovely view- all for a reasonable price for a tourist destination. We took many strolls on the rolling lawn, right outside our room, down to the ocean and explored the rocky beach- very peaceful!
My husband and I loved the complimentary breakfast of coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs and Jo’s fabulous homemade, right out of the oven popovers and muffins...yum, yum! The enclosed spacious porch overlooking the lawn and ocean was the perfect place to begin the day.
The Inn is very close to Camden Hills State Park where there are dozens of hiking trails for all levels. Mt Battie is also right up the road- spectacular views of the Bay and Camden - don’t miss it! It’s just a short drive to charming downtown Camden where there are nice shops and restaurants.
We will definitely return to High Tide Inn in the future.

We stayed here as the owner was winding up for the end of the season. Despite this, all staff were still efficient, enthusiastic and charming. The rooms here are a little dated, but are clean, comfortable and have amazing views. The breakfast is delicious. Value for money in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!
