This is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. It’s close to cultural venues, fabulous restaurants, and shopping. Rooms are smallish, but well-appointed and comfortable. The staff is excellent! The front desk staff are good-humored, efficient, and delighted to share recommendations for activities. Evan, Brianna, Lindsey all provided thoughtful advice and enthusiasm about Portland. The warmth and friendliness of the staff elevated the experience from good to great. I will absolutely return for another stay.

We visit Portland at least once a year and have stayed at The Heathman a few times. This was our first visit since their recent renovation, the updates are lovely! The staff are helpful and genuinely friendly. Bri checked us in, gave us some helpful tips, and shared interesting stories about the renovation and history. We seem to learn something new about Portland and The Heathman on each visit. Ari helped set us up with a few items to make our stay more comfortable. I am almost 8 months pregnant and was offered extra pillows, a non-alcoholic drink (in lieu of the complimentary local microbrew), and slippers. Our suite was spacious and the bed was super comfy, even for a very pregnant lady without her pregnancy pillow, we slept like babies! Thank you for another delightful stay!
