A little gem!

We stayed 1 night here prior to our visit to Machu Picchu. It is a nice hotel, lovely spacious rooms. Great bathroom with a shower and a spa bath. The room was thoughtfully designed and unusually had a kettle, with a little welcome plate of goodies. The hotel is right in the centre of the town opposite the market.

The only downside was our room was at the front of the hotel and the train literally runs 10 feet from the front of the hotel, so if you want an early night ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Those rooms had spectacular views of the mountains.

We also could not get WiFi access in our bedroom and had to go to reception to use it. That said it was a good stay in a magical place.

Shocking internet service

A nice hotel in a good spot but the internet is terrible . Does not work in room or breakfast area. Guests sit around the foyer hoping for connection. Internet what u would expect from a dive hotel, not a top tier hotel. Be warned
