My wife and I stayed one night for our anniversary. Everything was awesome. Our room very nice. The bed really comfortable. Great location within walking distance of so much to do. The only issue was that there was a lot of outside noise from the street but we didn't hold that against the hotel. Be sure and park cheaper across the street in the parking garage.

Stayed here Wed-Sun as the SO was at a convention for the week. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The bedding was very comfortable. The elevators were super cool inside as well.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the bars were great to hang out in.
The location is super, across from the convention center and at the entrance to the Gaslamp district, which is loaded with restaurants and bars. The zoo was 15 minutes away and coronado was about the same.
The hotel's coffee shop was very good as well. We will stay here again next time we are in SD.
