Hana provides an authentic Hawaiian feel. There are several fruit stands and markets where people sell their organic produce and prepared foods. The red sand beach is close to the hotel, and there are plenty of water sports and tours you and your family can enjoy together.

Unit 204 is great!

We stayed at Hana Kai Maui last night and it was better than expected, we looked at the other well known property out there but decided it wasn't worth the money for somewhere to crash for the night. We are now very happy that we didn't spend the extra money. Obviously the lower building has a better view than the upper (where we were located) but it still exceeded expectations especially for the price.
The Road to Hana can be long and we were very happy to have a place to stay instead of turning around right away and doing the drive back the same day, if you're considering staying overnight, I highly recommended it.

Another thing worthy of a note, there is no AC but with the fans and the cross breeze that you get in the unit, it's really not a problem.

This resort was in a beautiful location over looking the Hana Bay. The sunrise was stunning! The bed was so comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to stay.
