We have stayed in a number of Hampton Inns and other Hilton brand properties over the years. All have been excellent, but we would add another star for this one. From the moment we arrived, every detail of our stay was outstanding. We were on an early flight into Wilmington, and got to the hotel hours before check-in time. Nevertheless, the room we picked, via the choose-your-room option, was all ready for occupancy. The front desk staff was exceptional. Friendly, kind, and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and bed linens. The bathroom was also spotless and roomy with an ample complement of towels. Some additional features were notable, and not seen in other hotels. There were shelves in the bathroom, extra electrical outlets, lots of hooks in the bathroom, hooks outside the closet (for jackets,etc.) and an outlet near the mirror in the bedroom. The convenience provided by these extras was much appreciated. The room also had a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker.
Lastly, the breakfast was outstanding. There was more variety than is typical for a complimentary hotel breakfast, and the quality was excellent.
We would happily recommend this property to others and would stay here again if we return to Wilmington.
