The Hampton Inn Virginia Beach is a slice of beach utopia. Each room, directly facing the beach, enjoys it’s own private balcony letting you drift off to the lyrics of the waves. Located directly on the beach, you’ll love the close proximity to the boardwalk where you can find outdoor concerts, ride bikes, play in the surf or shop at the upscale stores and souvenir shops.
The Hampton has a nicely set up fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment facing the ocean views. The 24-hour indoor pool and hot tub are both large and beautiful.
Each room has a microwave and refrigerator. The de rigueur (these days) large flatscreen television proudly sits in the center of the room. Internet access is free. And the extra roomy bathroom is sweet comfort at the end of a long beach day. The complimentary breakfast provides generous-sized portions of waffles, eggs, bacon, bagels, coffee and more.
The Timbuktu restaurant is also on site at the Hampton Inn and receives endless raves for it’s fresh seafood, huge rack of full ribs, steaks, lobster, pizza and pasta. Kids are very welcome and a children’s menu is on-hand. Sit outside on the patio for a gorgeous ocean view or indoors to the modern, dark wood decor. Live entertainment in the bar Thursday through Sunday. Restaurant is open six days a week for both lunch and dinner: Monday through Saturday. Speaking of lunch — the menu is a hoot with $1 All-Beef Hot Dogs (add $2 if you want fries).
