Check-in was efficient, and the check-in staff member was courteous, cheerful, and professional. The room -- and entire hotel -- was extremely clean, and even the hallways smelled fresh. The bed (king) was very comfortable, as were the bed coverings (comforter) and pillows. Shower had good pressure and the bathroom was spotless clean. The bathroom door was a barn door-type slider; it did not have a lock, which did not affect my stay, but it may other travelers. Did not experience any noise in the hotel or from the traffic outside. The breakfast was traditional Hampton Inn quality - with the addition of yogurt smoothies! Coffee and cookies were available in the lobby 24/7, and the coffee urns were kept full and fresh. The common area (breakfast seating) was designed a bit differently from many Hampton Inns in which I have stayed recently. The color combination was warm, there was a fireplace, lighting fixtures were elegant, and there was a variety of seating arrangements. The area seemed large and open.
