Not only was the room infested with bugs, but now my body is. I called to complain and see what could be done as far as compensation or reimbursement and the manager says "I'm sure its something you got on the plane". Well, I drove. Then claims "they don't have bug issues" When I have read at least 5 within the past 2 months. I spent $150 on creams and medication alone (not including the $50 dermatology appointment) to cure the bacterial infection and allergic reaction that has been ongoing for the past 3 weeks. I was truly hoping I didn't have to write this horrible review and that the situation would internally be resolved, but nothing was ever done. Upon arrival staff was experiencing technical difficulties with their computerized check in process. We were early and agreed to come back later. Returned at check in time and they were able to assign us to one of the two rooms we reserved. The other was still not released by housekeeping. We placed all luggage in the one room and immediately noticed the room to which we were assigned did not have the microwave and fridge we thought had been reserved. While they assigned the 2nd room, they informed us our rooms did not come with such equipment but they brought a microwave and fridge to the 2nd room which they had assigned with connecting door to 1st room so we could share equipment. So, they did their best to make things right. After settling down, we then realized that the beds in the room were 3/4 width beds and not Queens which is what we had reserved. 3/4 width beds are half the width between twin and a full sized bed. That explained why they didn't have the microwave and fridge. The rooms were too small as well as the beds and the matresses were hard and very uncomfortable. Staff did not inform us at check in that our room type was changed and the Hotel appeared to be sold out or possibly oversold due to a major NFL game that weekend. On a brighter note, breakfast was tasty and coffee was great. Staff from front desk, maintenance and housekeeping were super nice.
