We stayed here for two nights as base camp for a trip to Shipshewana. The hotel is located close to the interstate, but a couple of miles from other things “in town”. The stay was okay, with no major issues.
The hotel is undergoing a renovation, but we did not experience anything that disrupted our stay. However, judging some of the furniture in the room, renovation and updating is needed. The desk chair was badly worn, and the bed was uncomfortable. The fitted sheet that was on the bed didn’t fit properly, and we had to keep fixing it. TV signal was splotchy due to rain and winds.
The hotel was very quiet and clean, which was a plus. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room. There were cookies in the lobby one of the nights.
Breakfast selection variety was more limited than other Hamptons we have stayed at, but understandable because this is a smaller hotel.
Overall, a good stay, and we would consider staying here again if we are in the area.
