The Hampton Inn St Augustine Beach is an oceanfront hotel on Florida’s east coast, just south of Jacksonville. In addition to the easy beach access here, you’re also close to all of St. Augustine’s historic attractions in the old town. Plan family days out at spots like the 120-year old lighthouse on the beach, Ponce de Leon’s “Fountain of Youth” Park, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park (one of St. Augustine’s oldest zoological attractions) and Potters Wax Museum.
The hotel has an onsite swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center and a beachfront playground that kids love. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the standard free Hampton Inn breakfast is available every morning. Guestrooms and suites have large flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, microwaves, refrigerators and ironing facilities, and rooms can accommodate up to four people.

Great ocean view from 4th floor with decent pricing. Easy walk to the beach. Pool unheated but there is a hot tub. Nice restaurant Sunset Grille right across the street also. It was warm 85F on Halloween 2019. Pool temperature was fine at that time. The rooms (we had 2), were very clean, spotless in fact. Balcony, good AC controls and it was fairly quiet. Wall mounted TVs and we had free wifi and free Showtime and Movie channels if needed. My only complaints and they were minor ...one tv remote was dead, doors were sticky and a bit noisy when opening and the pool patio was infested with ants which got over everything ....those are fairly easy issues to solve.
Beds as usual very comfy and the breakfast was decent with a good variety. Front desk girls were very nice and check in and check out was a cinch ....all around great Hampton Inn for this area.
