We have stayed here every year before vacation. This time was very different. Computers were down when we arrived. I was told I wouldn't be charged for my stay until check out so I could use a form of payment other than the card I used "only to reserve" the 3 rooms.
First we were given a key to a room already occupied by a couple. We'r walked in on them. Back to the desk. Next room was not what we reserved. There was 1 king bed, we needed and reserved 2 queen beds. Back to the desk. The third key was to the correct room.
A couple hours later, I received 3 email notifications from my bank telling me my card I used "only to reserve" the rooms was charged for all the rooms! Mind you, my family in the other two rooms gave a card on arrival and were charged too for those rooms! When I called about it, the women passed the phone around as if no one wanted to deal with it and were not very nice about it either. I didn't even get an apology.
I feel, as a loyal rewards member, at the very least my stay should've been discounted for all the trouble. A refund would've been a better course of action. But nothing.
I will never stay there again and will never recommend this hotel again.

After a terrible experience at a neighboring motel, Hampton once again proved to me why I spend a little extra to stay with them. Jay took my panicked phone call and immediately had me booked into a quiet and clean room. There was even a note with the desk clerk alerting them to my medical condition that caused us to leave the neighboring property and she asked my husband about my health. The only downfall of the room was a toilet that would often continue running. We alerted the front desk upon check out and received an email that the problem had been fixed for the next occupant. I would suggest cleaning where the wall and ceiling meet (cobwebs) and clean the bathroom door (there was something on it that I noticed when it was shut). Overall, Hampton has never let me down and I will book Hampton whenever possible!
