Overview

The Hampton Inn Duluth sits facing Lake Superior just east of Canal Park Lodge, across the street from Canal Park retail stores (including Duluth Pack) and next to Canal Park Brewing Company. Like most of its neighbors, it offers free morning breakfast, stellar views, a pool and whirlpool, and rooms with microwaves and refrigerators so you only need to go out for one meal or less if you have leftovers.

Near Perfect

We really enjoyed out stay. There was a fire fighter convention in town so it was full but it never seemed crowded. The room was clean and inviting. The beds were really comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was excellent (one of the better ones we've ever had while stay at a hotel). The to-go breakfast was also a nice touch when we had to leave on our last day. The only thing holding me back from giving it a 5 was the price. I realize you pay for the location but felt it was a little high. Even with that being said we really enjoyed out stay.

The Hampton on Canal Park is a great place to stay. Not the most expensive, but certainly you will feel pampered by the nice beds, clean shower and bath, and a nice complimentary breakfast. This is our second stay here and the first was as memorable and that was 5 years ago. Consistent good service.
