Overview

Located in Charleston’s Historic District, families have easy access to the Charleston Museum and Gibbes Museum of Art and the Children’s Museum. Walking tours, carriage rides and historic plantation houses are also near this Hampton Inn. After a day of touring around Charleston, head to the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool to finish out the day with a splash. Parents can relax on the pool deck chairs while kids swim and play. Mid range prices with low end facility and service

The hotel is in a historical area and therefore the look of the hotel was appropriate. I do not feel as though the price is worth it.

I had a room which opened to the courthouse and looking at the door I could tell at one point the door had been forced open from the outside. The door lock was exposed and the room was not safe.

At breakfast I found a huge black hair in the eggs. I mentioned the hair to staff and didn’t get a response. I was told by another guest that the eggs had been pulled and changed.

The parking garage staff was not friendly and the gentleman that i interacted with the first night was rude and disrespectful.
