Would recommend the place because it is close to the hospital and not far to drive. The staff are very accommodating and well versed with what they do to help the customers that are staying with them.

Great place to stay when visiting Columbia, MO. I would definitely recommend. The location was great for hopping on to I-70 quick, while also being in close range to the university and downtown eateries and bars.

The Art of Smart Timing
Because of the wealth of activities taking place at the colleges in Columbia, the hotel experiences high occupancy from approximately Feb. 18 through November. The hotel's low season usually is between December and Feb. 17. The earlier you book your room, the better chance you have of guaranteeing a room when you want to visit. The best rates traditionally are available when booking three weeks or more out. In addition, kids 18 and younger stay free with parents.
Getting There
The nearest airport to this hotel is the Columbia Regional Airport (COU), which is located 19 miles south of the hotel. There is no airport shuttle; however, most taxi providers charge a one-way flat rate of $30 for one person and $35 for two people.
Getting Around
The hotel does not offer any shuttle service around town, so a rental car or taxi is recommended. Also, the local transit company -- Como Connect -- maintains a bus stop approximately 250 yards from the hotel --Â about a 10-minute walk. Riders 18 and younger always ride free, while adults pay $1.50 for a single, one-way ride or $3 for an all-day pass. Please note all riders must have exact change to pay their fares. The transit service usually offers free transportation during event weekends, but check schedules before heading out.
For Mom and Dad
For parents who manage to grab some alone time, head to Stadium Grill, where they can enjoy a cocktail and dinner for two. Or, if the pool area is quiet, enjoy a good soak in the whirlpool.
