Ideal for a family of four or five, the newly renovated Hampton Inn’s standard rooms can include two queen beds and space for a crib or rollaway. Every room comes with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Kids will love the indoor pool, complete with cascading waterfall, while parents will appreciate the bubbling hot tub nearby. Other amenities of the hotel include free Wi-Fi, coin laundry, and a fitness room. The Hampton Inn’s free hot breakfast is one of the better ones around, featuring scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages, pastries, cereal, fruit, and more.
This Hampton Inn is located in the northern part of Corpus Christi, right off Interstate 37. You’ll find several restaurants within walk distance of your hotel, but it’s only a short couple of miles to the trendy restaurants and shops of the downtown district. You can be in North Beach in five minutes, where kids will love playing on the beach, exploring the USS Lexington aircraft carrier, and visiting sea life at the Texas State Aquarium. Fifteen minutes east of your hotel are the scenic walking trails of the Suter Wildlife Refuge, one of the best places in the world to observe sea birds. For even more wildlife and sandy beaches, the Padre Island National Seashore is less than 30 minutes away. With its kid-friendly pool and great location near North Beach, Hampton Inn & Suites makes a great choice for your Texas family vacation.

This hotel is priced as a Hampton Inn but the quality is below standard. There is a musty smell inside the hotel that makes you think it had flooding problems of some sort. The TV system has not been updated since 1990 it seems; the TV did not work because it was satellite and we had a storm. The A/C was loud and in general it was not a good experience. Stay somewhere else.
