This newly built Hampton Inn is perfect for a big family. You’ll find plenty of space on two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, plus room for a rollaway or crib. All suites include a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Kids will love the heated indoor pool after a day of sightseeing around Amarillo, while parents can soak away their aches in the nearby hot tub. They serve up an amazing free hot breakfast each morning, featuring scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, pastries, cereal, and fruit. Other amenities of the hotel include free wi-fi, coin laundry, and free cookies in the lobby.
The Hampton Inn is located right next to the famed Big Texan Steak Ranch, making it easy to walk to dinner each night. You might even think about attempting their legendary 72-ounce steak dinner challenge, which involves the steak plus a shrimp cocktail, baked potato, salad, and dinner roll. If you’re successful, dinner is free and your kids get to roll you back to the hotel. A mile down the road is the new Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian, which preserves the history of the native Plains and Pueblo peoples through fascinating displays and exhibits. Make sure to watch one of the weekend ceremonial dance performances at the museum. Amarillo’s other family-friendly attractions are mere minutes away, including Wonderland Amusement Park, the Amarillo Zoo, and the Texas Air and Space Museum. Your hotel is also an easy 45-minute drive from the hiking trails and stunning scenery of Palo Duro Canyon State Park. With its great location and new family-friendly suites, the Hampton Inn & Suites is a fun choice for your family vacation in Amarillo.

All Hampton Inn's are clean (or the ones we have stayed at) but this one was one of the cleanest Hampton Inn's we have stayed at. Maybe it's newer? Friendly staff and breakfast was good. They had the Warm chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies! Also bonus the Big Texan Steak House was 2 doors down! ????

This Hampton Inn is conveniently located off the interstate, but lots of construction was confusing. This hotel was new, and very clean, and modern in design. Smaller than most of the king rooms we've had, but not uncomfortable. Sleek new modern furniture, with barn door to bathroom. Bed was comfortable, Breakfast was great~scrambled eggs with biscuit & gravy. Offered water bottles when checking in, evening cookies, but no breakfast "to go" bags in the morning.
Would I stay here again? YES..................
