We've stayed at Hacienda for 2 September weeks. Stuff at the reception was always friendly and helpful - Anahi, Ingrid, Astrid, Aren (sorry if I missed somebody). Nice breakfast - thank you to Pedro for a good service. Location pretty good - 10 mins walk to Mamitas Beach, 10 mins to the supermarket, 15 mins to the ADO bus station. Muchas gracias and Adios :)

Let me start by saying I think this is a really nice Hotel with a very friendly staff. The location, just a block up from 5th Avenue, makes it very nice for people who don't have a car. The Taxi's are also VERY affordable. There were some issues however. Our Key Cards had to be reset almost every single day and that became a bit frustrating. Again the staff was good about it but it still was a pain. The toilet had next to no pressure and required multiple flushes sometimes just to get rid of the TP. There were no washrags in the room so I had to go to the desk and request them which they gladly obliged however, why would I have to ask for washrags? Although there is free WIFI, and great WIFI at that, I had to go to the desk and get the password instead of them just offering it to me at check-in or having it posted in the room. I know these are all minor issues but they did make the experience less than it could have been. To me that makes this a 3 Star Hotel vice a 4 Star as advertised. Again, even with all that, I would still recommend it and I personally would stay there again. One thing they did that I really appreciated was that, when we arrived 3 hours before the room would be available, they placed our bags in storage while we walked around town. Lastly, the Free Breakfast was really good and Luis was excellent and took care of all our needs. Great job to Luis.
