Family activities and amenities are abounding at Guy Harvey Outpost, a resort named after the artist and conservationist extraordinaire. Featuring five resort acres on the award-winning white sands of St. Pete Beach, you can swim and surf, but you won’t want to miss exciting experiences like the Touch Tank or “Swim with the Fishes” in the 33,500 gallon aquarium featured on the Animal Planet show “Tanked.” Educational, themed children’s activities are available, as well as drop-off camps for ages 4 to 12. Babysitters, concierge services and coin-operated laundry all add to the “just let go” vibe.
Room options accommodate up to 10 guests and some include in-room Jacuzzis and pet-friendly options. Relax in the VIP Cabanas as the SandBox beach lounge or enjoy a S’more roasted over the open fire tables. Tennis, golf, fishing and surfing are available, as are many other ways to explore the shore. Fourteen eateries are onsite, ranging from grab-and-go to fine dining.

Cockroaches in our room.
Wife was watching TV and screamed There are roaches on the walls. I took pictures to show the manager. Also loud music from Bands from adjacent property bar penetrate our ground floor room till 11 pm. Not good if your putting kids to sleep. Room door has a 3/8 inch gap at threshold unsealed. No wonder bugs get in. As bad or worse is the the response by management when we reported the cockroaches- they said their not cockroaches but palmetto bugs and they are normal and live in the palm trees. So why are they in our room I asked. I got a dumb look back. No apologies. No offer to change rooms. No exterminator. No credit for living in a $200 night room with bugs crawling on the walls. It’s as if its absolutely normal for these big disgusting bugs to come with the room. We were in town for a wedding and telling the RumFish to stick it was not an option. Stay was from 11-9 to 11-11 2019.
If you stay at this dump bring bug spray.
