Gurney’s Inn is nestled in the dunes at the tip of Long Island in Montauk and is one of the only resorts open year-round. Renowned for its reputation as a stress-relieving retreat, the resort offers beachfront views, a seawater pool and the Seawater Spa. Families can stay in rooms, suites or cottages at the spa resort. All units are decorated with a contemporary flair, allowing a lot of light into the unit. Suites offer separate bedrooms and Italian-tiled baths, while cottages display sunken living rooms and private decks. All come with great amenities — choose from accommodations with mini-fridges, kitchenettes, sofa beds, Wi-Fi, balconies and more. Guests enjoy fine dining and ocean views at The Seawater Grill and Ocean Cafe. The Beach Club is a great option for snacks and drinks, and the Market provides picnic lunches that can be devoured on the private beach or on the garden patios. Kids enjoy activities geared towards them, like children’s yoga classes on the beach. The area offers many activities and tourist sites. Families can tour the Montauk Point Lighthouse, go sailing and enjoy the fishing town’s atmosphere.

Despite the chill wind and lack of any open venues this turned into a welcoming warm afternoon. It is expensive however it is worth the outlay for wam open fire pits and or outdoor igloos.
Great views and space.

I had a great and relaxing time. I loved my dinner at Scarpetta Beach and I can't wait to return. The room and spa were also great and I swam laps in the pool. Also the service at the restaurant was fabulous.
