Overview

Currently transitioning into a more upscale product under new ownership, Gulf Shores is a classic Old Florida resort where all that’s important is that you can step out of your room (many of them anyway) and right onto sand. Some of the 25 units lie across the street on the inlet side of Casey Key.
All have kitchens, a living area, and free Wi-Fi. Boat slips and docking are also available. The beachfront two-bedroom units sleep four; unit #14 on the bay side sleeps six and has an elevated gulf view. Some of the side-by-side bayfront units are connected by a porch and others are adjoining. Shuffleboard courts, gulf-front gazebos, and barbecue grills add to the amenities.

2nd time we've been here and once again it didn't disappoint. The staff are so friendly, the room's and beds are so comfy, our patio was amazing, and the Gulf is right out there. What more could you want? The staff actually helped build a little makeshift wall for our dog on the patio when we told them she was a little shy. An absolute pleasure to come stay here and we'll definitely be back.

I stayed there for a night in bungalow 8 which is not facing the ocean. From the outside, the bungalow looked a bit dilapidated, but inside was clean, and well-kept. One of the reason we chose this place was dog - friendliness. It is right on the beach, and they provide beach beds and umbrella. They also let you stay until 5 pm the next for half the price. Our hostess was very pleasant and helpful. I certainly recommend it.
