One of the many Great Wolf Lodge worldwide destinations is the Pacific Northwest, Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound in Washington. This water park offers over 4,000 square feet of fun for the whole family including the 200-gallon bucket dump, interactive water toys, and River Canyon Run — the largest waterslide featured at the resort — with twists and turns dropping from six stories high. For younger children there is a guided educational tour of the Grand Lobby introducing animals like bears, wolves and moose. Also featured in the Grand Lobby are ten-minute shows with singing forest creatures and story time. The game room offers fun for everyone with hundreds of games and winning prizes. Rooms and suites comfortably sleep from four to eight family members, some offering kids an in-suite cave-themed area, equipped with bunk beds, Nintendo and movies. A wide range of dining options are offered from camp-themed family restaurants to gourmet buffets for breakfast and dinner.

This is strictly a review on the accommodations - not the water park or other attractions on site.
This two night stay was a huge disappointment for my family. The rooms are dated and not well maintained. Upon check-in, we soon discovered our room fridge to be missing parts, so called the front desk and they sent up a lovely maintenance person ... he quickly sorted the fridge but pointed out that the sink was leaking cold water onto the carpet, burned out bulbs and a vent cover partially unsecured. The maintenance fellow was thankfully able to secure us another room.
I spent an hour moving packing up and moving to another room while the kids had a swim (not how I anticipated spending my evening after 12 hours driving to our destination). I was pretty knackered but got settled in and had an early night.
The next morning we woke up to a dank smell - it wasn't us. The carpet in our room was damp. My husband noticed that he'd seen a 'wet floor' sign in the hall outside our door.
We couldn't bare a 2nd room move so we departed for the water park, but when we came back to the room, the smell was worse even with the window open and AC on. My husband went to the front desk to let them know of our continued disappointment and asked for compensation in any form ... they apologized not for the state of the room but for those inability to so anything about it.
My suggestion to anyone reading this is to fully inspect your room before you unpack. Both our rooms had deficiencies that should have been caught and noted by staff. Neither room should have been rented out in that state.
My suggestion to management is to have your rooms more frequently checked and better maintained.
This will be our last visit to any of your properties.

The Great Wolf Lodge at Grand Mound is dated. I brought my family down there 10 or so years ago. They have not made a single upgrade, yet they are still charging the same prices. Not worth your hard earned dollars.
