Just opened, the all-new Grand Velas Los Cabos redefines the family-friendly all-inclusive resort with an impressive array of kid-focused amenities and activities. The kids’ club for ages 4 to 12 offers a variety of engaging activities in a 1,000-square-foot facility located next to the wading pool and children’s area. The Teens’ Club for ages 13 to 18 welcomes teens to relax and play in their own 2,700-square-foot facility. Daily activities for all kids include healthy cooking classes, stretching classes and more geared to keep kids active and healthy. Not to be overlooked, babies can receive services from a designated baby concierge; think of everything from a crib and bathing amenities to baby floats, Mexican toys, and even baby’s first haircut (complete with special pampering and a certificate celebrating the milestone)! While the kids play, the parents can relax at the adults-only swimming pool, enjoy time at the spa or dine at one of the five restaurants. All suites include the following amenities: mini-bar with refreshments and snacks (restocked daily), Nespresso coffeemaker, laptop-size safe box, flat-screen HDTV, free Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board, bathrobes and sandals, hair dryer and pillow menu.

You can see by the pictures that the Grand Velas is beautiful -- but it's the staff that make the experience exceptional! Special thanks to Roberto R at the pool bar, Javier and Fernando from the activities area, Marilu at the coffee bar, and Jose, Karen and Alfonso at Azul! And our course, we loved all of the special things from Hugo around the pool! We missed seeing Julian in the gym --- he wasn't there every day. This was our third time on property in two years and we will be back!

I had visited this hotel on a business trip twice prevously and decided to return for a vacation.
The rooms are excellent with wonderful amenities, and the overall facility is wonderful. Personal concierge is a nice touch too!
Staff is friendly and try hard to plesae in all service aspects. After a rocky start to our first night (no turndown service), everything got so much better.
The food at Azul is outstanding, as is the service and food at the pools.
Velas 10 was just ok (Steak awful), Piaf was good and Lucca was excellent, especially the squid ink pasta!
Somelier wine choices are also good, but if you want to "upgrade" you will have to pay for that!
Unfortunately, only 1 bar (Koi) was open every night, but each time we visited before or after dinner it was empty, and we were often the only people there. No atmosphere at all after dark at the resort. Some live music would be a great addition to the resort amenities.
The Spa is AMAZING, with incredible water pools and fantastic Sauna, steam room, ice room and experience shower to finish!
Overall this is a great all inclusive luxury resort, and delivers on most of its advertised benefits!
Just add the music/ambiance and I'll give the 5th star!
