The hotel is not too large and well kept. I wish there were a few more activities offered, but we came with a 3 year old, so it’s alright for us. The stuff at the hotel is friendly and accommodating. However, what I would like to write about and what is outstanding is how attentive the dining manager, servers, and of course the chef are. I don’t have any food allergies, but I do have a bit of a limitation in terms of what I can eat. I gently asked for simple modifications to my meals realizing that this is a large place and the chef can’t prepare individual dinners for everyone. The waiter mentioned this to the manager who promptly asked me if I have any allergies and to let them know how they can make my dining experience better. I was so touched. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this kind of attentiveness. I have never experienced this anywhere else, so if you do have any concerns as to the food, please don’t hesitate. By the way, so far my favorite dinner has been the seafood buffet. If you love seafood, then it’s a must (there was steak there too for those who aren’t into seafood). Thank you again to the dining manager, the chef & kitchen stuff, and the waiters!

I was lucky enough to be invited by very good friends of mine to enjoy the resort as they are fractional owners. It definitely was an experience of a lifetime, AMAZING from beginning to end that it triggered some “ugly crying” on my part! One was when we were about to head to the penthouse. I must say that it was overwhelming to be spoiled like that! Travelers who have high expectations won’t be disappointed because they will go above and beyond your expectations. Every detail, from the beautifully decorated suites, breathtaking views, upscale kitchen appliances, complete amenities, cleanliness, daily room service and turn down...all kept at very high standards. And the FOOD & WINE experience!!! Oh Emm Gee! Foodies like me will delight in the freshest, most delicious and impeccably plated food served by the nicest servers. (Uploading food pictures soon!) And Javier, the sommelier - hands down knows his stuff! We did the “Back of the House Tour” which shows the inner workings of the resort. It impressed me so much at how employees are treated so well that it is no wonder the resort as a whole is run like a well-oiled machine! Most important in travel these days is SAFETY! I’ve never felt more safe. They just really take care of you.
I would love to name all the staff’s names but it just wouldn’t be possible because even the people in the background who I got a chance to meet are all wonderful. But here are some I just have to mention and thank:
• Pretty Claudia, concierge extraordinaire and Octavio for the
House Tour.
• All waiters at both restaurants especially Herasmo, Abad, Mauricio, Joshua, Alvarado, Juan, Hervey
• Cleaning maids Claudia and Jose
• Zumba instructor Ricky
I hope I find myself back to this perfect vacation place again and again and again!
