The Grand Plaza La Paz is for the vacationer wanting to escape the hustle of downtown. The hotel is situated on a bulkhead surrounded by the sea. While the hotel has no beach access, it does have a pool. It’s a long walk to downtown, so if you want to see the city, you’ll need a rental car or taxi. The Grand Plaza La Paz can accommodate big families with rooms sleeping up to eight people. All rooms are suite-style and feature half kitchenettes.

GHOST TOWN RAMSHACKLED!

Reserved a room to meet a friend celebrating her birthday. Had reserved a suite with balcony. Checked into a first floor dark dingy room so got reasigned a floor up to a room that lamps didnt work, window and shower curtains off hooks, no shower head at all so it dripped rather than flowed. Irony is that we never saw another guest other than a small wedding party the next evening. Everything felt run down

The rooms are outdated and dark. The worst part was the towels, 2 super thing towels and no bath mat or hand towels. The shower was ok although all the hotel need a bit of work to make it look nicer.
The sheets were clean and the size of the rooms were nicely big. The pool are was so so....
The breakfast area was not as nice. But there is a Starbucks very close by.
