Grand Treatment at Grand Pacific Hotel

Step back into colonial history unchanged since Queen Elizabeth II stayed there and addressed the country from their veranda. Book a room that includes the lounge to enjoy breakfast and afternoon drinks with appetizers. Easy walk into town and across the street from the national museum. Island resorts are fun but to get a feel for how Fijians live visit Suva for a few days. And we greatly appreciated the gracious staff, including Nancy, Iva, Maria and Neha.

Best Hotel in Suva

My partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a stay at the Grand Pacific Hotel. I had visited on previous trips for sunset cocktails at the pool bar but never actually stayed at the hotel.
Our expectations were definitely exceeded. We felt very privileged from the start to finish.
I am a returning resident of Suva and remember the hotel from my childhood and I am so happy and proud to see that it has been fully returned to its former glory ... in fact it’s probably better then it was before.
Our Club room (334) was amazing, with a 180 degree over Suva Harbour from the balcony! Probably the best view from any hotel room in Suva in our opinion. It was extremely spacious and kept spotless by the great housekeeping team. The huge bed offers a great nights sleep and it’s so quiet too!
Our experience with the service was impeccable all round from check in to check out. The complimentary foot massage at the lovely spa is a nice touch.
I highly recommend getting the breakfast included, it’s definitely worth it. Buffet style and something for everyone. Just to name a couple of things I had yummy eggs bene followed by waffles, cooked to order from a list of great options. There’s also a juice station offering freshly blended juice the way you want it. I can testify that suggestions given in previous reviews have definitely been taken on board and delivered. The only thing I could suggest is possibly more seasonal local fruit options like mangos. Although having said that I ate fresh pawpaw every morning of our stay. Yum!
