The Grand Bahia Principe Coba rolls out the red carpet for families at this all-inclusive Cancun resort. For instance, the property has special family suites that provide the space and privacy parents desire, plus a number of amenities the kids will love (think kids’ welcome gift and basket of sweets and kids’ mini bar with milkshakes and soft drinks). Then there’s the kids’ water park complete with waterslides, themed swimming pools and enough water features to ensure you get soaked. Kids also will love the activities found at Bahia Scouts, the property’s mini kids’ club. Of course, there’s also the beach, two more swimming pools, a golf course, an opportunity to swim with dolphins, and a spa, not to mention nine restaurants and eight bars.

This was my first time at this resort and I was very pleased with how well kept and clean this huge resort was. The food was fantastic everywhere we ate. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again. Long ride from airport was the only downfall.

We had a fun time at Grand Bahia Principe Coba! I know we had a few miscommunications with personal relations (for example we confirmed with the person had booked the teppanyaki at Mikado, only to be told on arrival we got put in Á la carte instead) and a few bumps but overall a great time!
Mashua was a highlight and has great service, everyone was so wonderful to us. Especially our waiter Alfredo! He single handedly made our vaction great! There was a bunch of resteraunts we went to but nothing compares to this one. The food, the flavour, the atmosphere and the special little touches that leaves you with a smile when you leave the resteraunt. I have never seen such positive and accomidating staff. It blew my husband and I away! Alfredo and the manager Glaydis always went above and beyond and were always happy to see you happy (this brought us back 3 times!), He made you feel like family If you’re booking any of the resteraunts make it this one.. I promise you won’t be dissapointed!
This hotel goes all out and we were fortunate to be present for dios de los muertos and halloween. They had a big celebration nov 1 for los dios de muertos and if you were at the buffet for halloween they had employees dressed up in front of the buffet, and they decked out the whole buffet in spooky decor including a smoke machine for the floor! They also had a haunted house and show (free) which was very well done!
Whether you’re looking for a fun vacation or a relaxing one, you can do as much or as little as you like here. The animation staff were awesome! They always have energy and events going on and encourage others to have fun! Volleyball, water excersize, zumba, foam party you name it! I think our favorite activities were volleyball with Carlos and the zumba which was right by the pool!
However if you’re looking to relax definetly go check out the spa. I personally had the mayan massage from Lilliana at the Coba spa and it was one of the best I ever had! I work at a spa, so I love to explore them when I go away.. and I defiently reccommend this one! You get to pick from a few essential oils if you wish. There’s also the option to get a massage on the beach but I reccommend going into the spa, there’s showers and lockers and a wonderful atmosphere.
I can’t wait to return one day, hopefully with family and friends!
