Gran Melia is bordered by Coco Beach and the El Yunque rainforest. Its suites are arranged in 20 two-story buildings and feature elegant Spanish décor and rich mahogany furniture. Four onsite restaurants feature Asian, Italian and Puerto Rican cuisine. Gran Melia offers a complimentary breakfast. Kids will go crazy running around the gardens and playing in the large lagoon-style pools and kids’ pool. Kids Club plans daily activities that will keep the little ones busy and happy, as well. The program is for children ages 5 to 12; babysitting can be arranged for younger kids.

Stunning rebuilt Hyatt property on the water. Rooms and facilities are beautiful! A great quiet vacation spot to relax or perfect for a destination wedding. Pool is fabulous plus poolside service was right on!

This place has Hyatt brand affiliation, but is run like a rinky-dink local operation. Don't be fooled. Service is slow and indifferent. If you're expecting a resort experience, look elsewhere. Food is expensive, average at best, bad at worst, and served by intrained staff who ruin the experience. Same with the bars. The resort was bearly empty when I stayed there, and full of employees, but still had to leave by car to get a decent meal or drink because the service at the resort was so slow and spotty. I have no clue what Hyatt is thinking letting their name and brand image be associated with this place. The grounds are great, but the service experience needs a gut renovation!
