Stayed here for 2 nights because my daughter is a freshman at USC. Arrived around lunch time and couldn’t check in yet, but we had a Bloody Mary (Me) and an iced latte (my 14 year old daughter) and shared a grilled cheese and soup in the super cute bar area. Our bartender was charming and efficient. I LOVE the decor in rye bar...every eclectic and cute...nothing matches and it just works! It’s conveniently located right in the middle of the campus so it wad awesome and close to so much! The room was just gorgeous...again nothing matches and it’s so cute, and very comfortable beds. Great water pressure. My one complaint, if it even is one, is there’s no in room coffee maker. But I went to the bar in the morning (same great bartender!) and got an excellent cappuccino so it was no big deal! There was a pretty nice Bloody Mary bar set up but we were off to do some shopping and eating at Soda City so I passed but next time I’ll try it! Spoke to the bar and service manager who was very pleasant as well. I loved this hotel and will probably stay here every time I come visit my daughter! All around awesome!!

My daughter and I were were visiting Univ of S. Carolina and since I was not planning to rent a car I needed to stay somewhere in walking distance of campus. This property is right on campus and very convenient. Upon arrival I really liked the decor and the feel like you were visiting someone’s home (albeit a well kept home (Lol). Very nice curb appeal and inviting lobby. The room was clean and decor well appointed...really liked the line of bath products/shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. Nice and quiet hallways. Mind you we stayed there when the football team was on an away game so that may explain something of the quietness. :) Staff was very friendly. We ordered burgers and fries for dinner but the other menu options sounded tasty as well. Although the burgers were a bit pricey they were very tasty. Beverages like sodas were also a bit pricey too so recommend you bring your own. The bar was well appointed but I can’t rate the actual drinks since I did not order one. Overall a very nice property and one I would not mind staying at to visit my daughter should she decide to enroll at the university. :)
