We splurged for our 30th anniversary and booked the Tudor Suite at the Gore for three nights. The room was absolutely beautiful and so spacious. The staff was helpful and kind and the food delicious. We did the Rock & Roll afternoon tea which was amazing. It's a bit of a walk to a station (15-20 minutes) if you are going into the city, but it wasn't bad. Would definitely go back to The Gore again.

A hideaway hotel in the heart of Kensington. Rooms are beautiful- we were lucky to get good size rooms. Traditional English atmosphere which we enjoyed. The hotel is close to Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Gardens. High St. Ken is ten mi it’s walk. It is also a ten minute walk to the museums (The Nat. History) and V&A. The hotel is not a touristy spot. It’s on a quiet location in Kensington.
