Overview

It doesn’t get more charming than the Good Medicine Lodge in Whitefish, Montana. About 25 minutes outside of Glacier National Park, this family-owned B&B offers cozy accommodations, an outdoor hot tub, complimentary cookies, and complimentary evening hors d’oeuvres and wine.

Its best offering, however, is the complimentary, filling breakfast that’s served each morning. Think coddled eggs and huckleberry coffee cake served in a darling breakfast nook. Pro Tip: Take the B&B’s cookbook home and try some of the recipes for yourself!

While this is a B&B that’s popular with couples, Good Medicine Lodge happily welcomes kids; two of its nine rooms can connect to other units for families.

Good Medicine Lodge is located next to Bonsai Brewing, which is also super family-friendly.

The Model of Hospitality

by MLS334

Ryan and Sara at Good Medicine Lodge are the model of hospitality in lodging in Whitefish, Montana. Our 5 night stay at this charming and comfortable B&B was more than we imagined it could be. We enjoyed a warm welcome, daily snacks and warm greetings when passing through, engaging conversations and comfortable living in a fireplace warmed living room that invites you to pick up a book while sitting and relaxing. We'll absolutely return again when we're back in Whitefish.

This is a beautiful property that comes with the warmest hospitality from Woody and Betsy, breakfasts that will blow you away and the wonderful touch of a crafted appetizer in the early evening. (And if you like cookies, well, just saying "complimentary cookies" on the website doesn't do them justice.)

Great indoor common areas, including a fireplace in one room and a wood stove in another.

A couple of FYIs: The guest laundry is coin-operated. ... You can walk into town if you're willing to walk about a mile on a main road; once you get to town, everything's close together. If you want to drive into town, there was plenty of parking, though it is likely harder to come by in-season. ... There was no TV in our room (that was actually nice) but one of the common areas is a TV room.

Can't say enough about how gracious Woody and Betsy were -- they made our trip that much better.
