We arrived late night and check-in took really long, although the check-in staff was very friendly and explained everything in details. Would appreciate if the check-in process can speed up a bit!
The room was okay... some unwanted marks on the bed sheets (looks like blood stain but not sure what they are and didn´t want to investigate). Don´t forget to bring your own slippers!
Internet is extremely slow in the whole hotel!! There are individual internet hotspots in each room but still the connection is so bad that you couldn´t even open the google maps or check email. At the hotel lobby you´ll have the access of the general internet hotspot, slightly better than that in the room but still SLOW to the max! We have been using the PC at the lobby... same speed connection and the browser non stop reload the same page even though you did not click any button. It´s like the PC is being hacked.
The room door: you cannot shut the door properly without pushing it hard! Our door remained unlocked after housekeeper came. Very serious problem and thanks that nothing has been stolen. The manager sent someone to check the door for us but due to the structure of the door, nothing can be done. So you still need to shut the door with extra power.
During the stay, we met the heaviest rain of the week. What a pity that the hotel does not provide any umbrella to rent. Highly suggest to bring your own just in case. It is also difficult to find umbrellas on the street when you need one.
Good location after all, easy access to the beach. Do not take the beach chairs even though they claimed to be free, as there were guys chasing after us for money. They told us that for hotel guests are free but at the end they wanted money for us and didn´t want to let us go. Just a kind reminder, I guess this has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
Breakfast is nice, great variety! First day breakfast was the best somehow. On second day breakfast, a lot of food was ¨swimming¨ in the water.

The hotel has an excellent location for tourists in Rio. The staff is committed, nice, polite and very attentive. Some rooms and the pool on the rooftop have astonishing views of Copacabana beach. Small drawbacks are that a renovation would improve the comfort of the rooms, the pool is pleasant but too small for the size of the hotel and if you want a cozy and calm hotel, this hotel could be not the best option for you as it is busy and sometimes loud.
