An extremely well located hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and personable staff. Many of the main attractions in the old city are within a few minutes walk, as well as a good selection of bars and restaurants all of which were welcoming and reasonably priced for a tourist centre. Breakfast in the hotel was good traditional fare, however, the inclusion of yogurt and some sliced fruit fruit such as berries, banana and melon would have been appreciated along with some croissants. Overall a most enjoyable experience.

My friend and I traveled to London and Athens and our last stop was Istanbul. What made our stay in Istanbul so memorable was this quaint hotel. Thank you Hugo and Shenai and Neco and others who took such good care of us from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect to walk to most important tourist attractions as others have mentioned over and over again. Every morning the breakfast was such a delight with so many authentic Turkish offerings, probably the best meal we had every day as vegetarians. We were given great advice and directions, and day tour and other outings were booked for us. Room was adequate and pretty, given how old the building is. We were always greeted with a smile by everyone and felt right at home and the area was safe enough for us two ladies to walk around even at night post dinner. Missing the Turkish chai and hospitality and hoping to be back some day.
