This beautifully decorated log-style B&B is rustic with a side of fancy. In fact, one of the rooms is called The Fancy Room, and features a queen bed, a full futon and a clawfoot bathtub. A large family will need to book several rooms, but it’s worth it to stay in this centrally located B&B. Guests have access to a full kitchen, fire pit and wraparound deck. A free home-cooked breakfast is served in the bright and airy dining hall each morning. There’s also a BBQ outside where you can grill up your catch of the day. Kids will love the foosball table and collection of board games in the dining hall.
The B&B is hidden away in the trees just off the main highway as it enters downtown Glennallen. It’s a five-minute walk to the grocery store and several restaurants. Glennallen is a base for guides and outfitters offering fishing, hiking, rafting and other adventures in the nearby Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The best place to start is the Copper River Valley Visitor’s Center in the middle of town. You’ll also find the quirky little Alaska Wildlife Museum, which has taxidermy displays of animals in action. It’s a great way for kids to learn what these animals look like before trying to spot them for real. With its convenient location and rustic luxury, Glennallen’s Rustic Resort B&B is a memorable place to spend a part of your family vacation in Alaska.

Really nice spacious log home. Great location as hub for day trips to Valdez(highly recommend), MaCarthy/Kennicott, etc.. Hosts Cynthia and Eric were great and made us feel like family. It was really nice to meet and interact with the other guests as well. Our stay here was a definite plus on our vacation.

I had never stayed at a bnb before. I absolutly love it compared to hotel life. The owners are super friendly and I felt at home the couple weeks I stayed there. I would recommend to anyone wanting a bnb experience.
