Girls Weekend 2019

Let me start by saying the view was magnificent. The rooms however were not. We had to upgrade because we made our reservations on line which did not specify you have to pay an extra $50 a night for hot tub access. Well the first upgraded room 688 was disgustingly dirty (refrigerator, bathrooms, stain on comforters etc) which they verified trust me and it smelled of mold and mildew and the decor was stuck in the 1970's. Then we were very quickly changed to 738 which slept 8 but we were 3. Sugar ants in master bath, caked on stain on base bedding. also confirmed by housekeeping. But we made this one work. Well at check out I asked for our $50 a night upgrade fee back and we were told we were going to get a 20% refund fee and that the property manager was out until Tuesday but would call me specifically that week they returned. We got the emails which stated this however as of today there is still no refund oh and most disturbing no phone call from the manager. Just so we are clear our weekend was 09/20/19 thru 09/22/19 Today is 10/03/19. Extremely disheartening we found this type of treatment at one of my favorite area's to visit.

Wonderful honeymoon stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much to the staff of Gearhart by the sea. The front desk was so welcoming. Housekeeping was fantastic. We loved our stay so much, we booked for next year!!

Our unit was stocked with basic needs. It was clean, and airy.

We look forward to making this a yearly trip.

Oh yes, they accept pets too!!!!
