Overview

Gaston’s White River Resort in Lakeview, Arkansas, features 74 guestrooms and cottages for families of all sizes. The majority of the accommodations come with kitchens with all the essentials, plus king, full and/or twin beds, free Wi-Fi, TVs, fireplaces and patios. The largest accommodation type is the River Villa, which can sleep up to 20 guests. Some rooms are also pet friendly.

There is an outdoor swimming pool for families to enjoy, as well as a playground, game room and nature trails. The resort fronts the White River, which is popular with those who like to fish. Local attractions include the James A. Gaston Visitor Center, Bull Shoals Dam and Bull Shoals White River State Park.

The resort has an onsite restaurant that is open seasonally for lunch and dinner. During the winter months of December and January, it is only open on weekends. There is a children’s menu, too. Additional restaurant options include Anthonees Restaurant and Connie’s Cafe.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.

Favorite local spot

Having grown up in Mtn. Home, Gaston’s is somewhere we dined at frequently (restaurant is fantastic!) but it wasn’t until becoming an adult and moving away that I’ve had the opportunity to stay at the resort as an overnight guest. From our first stay several years ago it quickly became our favorite place to go when visiting family! We make multiple weekend trips to Gaston’s every year and always enjoy our time there. As our family has grown from 2 to 6 there’s accommodations to fit every need! The rooms are always clean with wonderful river views. The restaurant is a short walk and opens early for breakfast which is great for fisherman and parents of toddlers!

Awesome friendly people, great food,fantastic views & manythings to do
& see.There's not a dull moment. The trees will be soon changing to there fall colors-as fall is appoaching.
Just a beautiful place to be! :)
