Perfect Hotel and location for the occasion. We loved the rooms, they were perfect, especially the full length mirror! The Hotel staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating from the second we pulled up until the second we pulled away. This was a girls 40th birthday celebration and I had been in contact with Lauren prior to arrival. It was so nice to deal with someone so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Lauren assisted with all of my needs and requests to make the event perfect. Not only did Lauren help with preparing the room prior to arrival, she assisted with excellent recommendations for dinner, after dinner venues and brunch. In addition, Lauren checked in with us during and at the end of our stay to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. If i ever need to book a hotel in the city again, I would not hesitate to book the Gansevoort!!! It is such a pleasure to have received such amazing service!

The property is nice but the service and amenities were horrendous. It as if the hotel is being run by college kids that have no background in hospitality or hotel management. The bartenders were rude and treated hotel guests no differently than a drunk college kid going to the bar for the night.
