Fripp island is a great vacation spot, but I would steer clear of unit 709 ocean cottage. Unit itself was nice but upon check in we were welcomed with no less than 50 flies inside the unit. We got rid of a few but could never get rid of all of them and we constantly had to put up with at least 10-12. No help or even response from Fripp island guest services to check the issue or help. Neighboring units told us they had zero fly issues.

First of all, we truly appreciate the owner allowing our pets. Thank you! The main reason this property only got four was that the cleaning team did very little to clean the floors. It is extremely difficult to maintain these properties each week, but we do pay quite handsomely to use them. We liked being able to use the garage area. And the views are magnificent around the marina. We would rent this property again. We have been going to Fripp island for many years; it has become very crowded. A victim of its own success.
