The Fly In Fish Inn is a small hotel right on the water that shares its name with the attached restaurant. Most of the rooms include two queen beds, but they do have a family-friendly room with two queens and two twins that could comfortably sleep a family of six. That larger room also includes its own private deck, where you can enjoy stunning ocean views. Kids will have fun watching the float planes and fishing vessels come and go. Other amenities include refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and free Wi-Fi. The Inn’s gourmet restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, and is popular with locals for both meals.
The Inn is located on the water, less than 2 miles from the airport. It’s a ten-minute walk to the heart of downtown, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants along the way. Family-friendly attractions, such as the Alaska Raptor Center and the Sitka National Historic Park, are several miles away. With its unique location, onsite restaurant and large suite, The Fly In Fish Inn is a good choice for your Alaskan family vacation.

Our long weekend in Sitka was perfect and the Longliner stay couldn't have been sweeter! A huge thank you to Fernando for going out of his way to make us feel completely at home, taking care of every detail and always being available for our questions. The rooms for our group were spotless, cozy and quiet. Just wish we would have made time to eat in the restaurant- next time! Thank you Longliner staff for such a wonderful stay.

We didn’t have the best room ( 1 or2 are on ground floor hallway), but the setting is great. Enjoyed drinks on the patio on the water. Room was comfortable and very clean. Make sure you eat at the restaurant, which in one of the best in town .
Ferdinand made the stay super, giving us a ride to the park and boat.
The downside is, it’s a bit of a walk to downtown.
