Heron Lagoon splits Siesta Key in two at its southern extremity, and creates a waterfront vacationing environment all its own away from the beach. Among the mansions in this exclusive neighborhood, Flip Flop is as casual as it sounds. Its cluster of beautifully refurbished vintage cottages includes everything from one- to three-bedroom units with kitchen facilities in a garden waterfront setting.
Fishing, paddling, relaxing, swimming — activity here is low-key. Turtle Beach and its clutch of restaurants are a short drive away.

There are a number of cottages. We rented the large 3 bedroom right on the water. It was perfect for a bunch of golfers. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. One of the bedrooms never gets dark because of the security lights never go off.

we stayed in room #6 the honeymoon and our sister stayed in #2 the rooms are very neet and well decorated. we had a window unit which kept the room very cool. there is no room service but you can catch her on occasion and trade out towels and toiletries. there is a washer and dryer on site. we stayed 5 days and loved being minutes from siesta key beach, and turtle beach you are rite in the middle between them.
the rooms look newly remodeled and up to date décor. its not a 5 star hotel but I give it 5 stars for what it is we will be going back next year to get the heron house.
we also have taken 4k footage and drone 4k we will be adding to youtube
