At Fischer’s Cove, you can rent standard garden or ocean-view rooms, or spring for the family-size cottage. Eat breakfast-through-dinner at the onsite restaurant (plan ahead by viewing the daily menus on their website if you wish) or walk to several nearby restaurants. The property itself is set along a white-sand beach, and is close to gorgeous locations like the Baths. Note that at the time of this review, wifi is not available in-room, but you can access the Internet from elsewhere on the property.

We actually did not stay on site but were here every day and just had to write a review as our experience was wonderful with all the staff who works here. My husband and I were on Virgin Gorda for 3 days and stayed at an airbnb apartment above a local bakery. As there was no front desk or restaurant where we stayed, we would walk across the street to Fischers cove. I cannot praise this place and it's staff enough. Our vacation would not have been the same without them. They helped us rent a car. They gave us a map. They assisted us with which places were open/closed due to the hurricaine damage. We looked at a room and they were wonderful. We ate there at least one meal a day, always with the beautiful view of the ocean at our fingertips. We have been all over Virgin Gorda and it is the best view on the island, by far . Although Hog Heaven on the other side of the island has a great view, but that is a little mom & pop lunch place. The food was great, the cocktails were great. But beyond this was the way we were assisted and treated like family, even though we were not staying with them. I would stay at Fischers Cove next time, but they were booked during our stay. Now I know why. Do not miss th opportunity to stay here is you can get in !! Thank you to all the Fischer's Cove staff ! You are the best !!!

We spent four nights here in mid-March, post Irma and Maria, and the storm damage was very apparent and sad to see. Only five rooms were habitable, since the second floor of the hotel building and the roofs of the cottages were lost in the storm. I don’t think they’re actually soliciting hotel guests and believe they honored our reservation only because we had made it far in advance of the storms, and really wanted to visit despite the warnings of possible power and water outages. (We had neither, by the way.) Our room was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were a bit battered but we weren’t there for décor. The patio had a partial sea view, which was nice. The fresh flowers on the patio were a nice touch too. The beach was in good shape and there were lounge chairs and palapas available. The staff were friendly and helpful. As I’d hoped, we could walk to The Baths from there, which saved on transportation expenses. There’s also a store within walking distance, along with a couple of restaurants in addition to the one at Fischer’s Cove. While I wish we could have seen the resort before the hurricanes hit, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
