My husband and I visited Finolhu for a week at the beginning of November to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary, having looked at it online and reading reviews for the 9 months in the lead up to our stay i didn’t think it could be any better than the high expectations I already had but as soon as we stepped off the seaplane we were blown away it’s like Paradise . From the minute you arrive at Male airport you are looked after from Finolhu staff until you leave they are all exceptional . We stayed in an over water villa and it was stunning , we loved swimming in the gorgeous turquoise sea from the steps of our deck . The villa was gorgeous and well thought out and had absolutely everything you needed and more , was cleaned and towels etc replaced twice a day and nothing was ever missed . Loved getting in the buggies around the island when we couldn’t be bothered walking sometimes or it was too hot , the weather was brilliant for our week there except one day . The food was excellent quality and very good choice , we ate at the crab shack and the other 2 restaurants and all were excellent. We loved going on the boat after lunch over to the crab shack and getting beds there at the beach which was amazing and we practically had it to ourselves it was heaven. The staff here are all so friendly and Anna and Marc go out of their way to make sure your having the best time . While there we received a bottle of Prosecco , chocolate cake delivered to our villa and our bed decorated for our anniversary such lovely touches . So glad I booked Finolhu we absolutely loved it .

This holiday was perfect in every way! Not only was the resort beautiful but the variety and amount of food you could choose at each meal time was beyond what we expected. Everything was so fresh and clean everywhere!
