We stayed two nights (mid-week) in Cabin 31 (The Waterfall Cabin). The cabin itself was clean with a great setup for a family (queen bed, bunkbeds + a pullout). It's set at the very back of the campground, in what we thought was the best location of all the cabins. It has towering redwoods feet away, a private picnic table and fire pit at the back, and it's just steps away from the trails into Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park - with a trail leading into the Buzzard's Roost trail. You also have the convenience of the general store and bar/restaurant that are just up the hill. Great base for exploring Big Sur!

Wow how amazing sleeping under the giant redwoods ???? the staff was great, we stayed in the adventure tent and we had a nice shared bath and shower for us and two other tents. There are two complete bathrooms that lock so it’s very private. Our neighbors did have their bag of firewood stolen though so if you buy firewood you should lock it in your tent!
