I have traveled throughout the country, but especially during college football weekends for personal pleasure. There is nothing worse than visiting a college town (not a city) where your hotel options are limited and overpriced. You always have to read the reviews as a lower chain hotel can charged 5 times the value with 10 time less clean and service. I hate getting gouged for a dirty room just because it's close to campus.
This hotel was perfect for my needs. The room was clean. The beds were made perfect and sheets were white and clean. There was a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The refrigerator was inside a cabinet.
Each room is equipped with a flat screen 32" television with a very clear picture. I was able to connect my Roku and use the wifi to stream other college football games when we returned from the Arkansas game.
The room had a working air conditioner and the shower was more than efficient, hot water, solid pressure and I'm 5'10 with more than enough room. There were four towels left each day.
This hotel also has interior corridors, which make it easier for the housekeeping staff to be efficient and keep the undesirable issues that one with exterior corridors have.
The continental breakfast was about average, but that's all you can expect. There's a Whataburger about 5 minutes away.
Campus can be made in a $9-12 rideshare.
The front desk clerks were pleasant and as someone who does spent several nights a year in 4-5 Star Hotels for business, I was more than happy to leave tips for the housekeeping, which met all the needs and more. This was better than some of the higher trend hotels.
It's a steal for those coming in town for a sporting event and want a nice place to stay when you're not at the event.

In reading some of the reviews, I was almost hesitant to stay here, but I’m glad that I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They have an AMAZING staff, especially Tracey & Carol, not to mention the housekeepers I encountered (sorry, I forgot your names!) other reviews stated the showers were too small & that there were no bathroom doors... ummm, they have pocket doors ... lol!! And, I thought the showers were amazing! I’m 5’11” and had no issues. Beds & pillows were super-comfortable. And, the complementary breakfast quite nice. Thank you from one tired traveler!!
