Located in Chania near shops, restaurants, and the Archaeological Museum of Chania, this gorgeous boutique hotel is the ideal choice for families looking for something 100-percent unique. It’s also just two blocks from the waterfront.
Book the large top floor suite named ‘Yasemin’. The room is gorgeous — it literally glows — and is large enough for a family of four. Plus a cot and baby crib are available upon request. Wi-Fi is included, and same goes for breakfast. Yasemin has a Bluetooth soundbar and two TVs, as well as air conditioning.

The check-in hours that we were provided when we made the reservation were not correct. The day before check-in while we were traveling through Greece, we were sent an email to tell us that check-in is as follows:
"Please bear in mind that the reception is not open all day. The reception opening hours are from 08.00-15.00pm & from 18.00-22.00pm" So, of course, we arrived during the period during the mid-day that it was closed and had to wait on the street with our bags because we didn't have a chance to check email until we actually arrived on site.
Once we were able to speak to an attendant, she was rude to my wife as she explained that the credit card charge didn't go through over two months prior to check-in date and she was just now letting us know.
So she wanted us to pay her for 5 days in cash. This sounded very weird.
When we called the credit card company they told us that the charge did go through and that it was collected by the hotel. We provided this information to the hotel attended and yet she wanted us to pay her in cash for the stay.
So we decided to cancel our stay immediately and told our credit card company that we wanted to dispute the charge since the hotel was telling us that it wasn't paid.
We stayed another hotel down the street and continued our wonderful vacation.
I am not sure if this attendant is still working there but be careful if you are asked to pay cash once you get there. WARNING

We stayed for a week and would highly recommend the hotel. Marianna, the Manager couldn’t have been more helpful. She made us feel extremely welcome and contributed to the enjoyment of our holiday. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is good, obviously being so central means initially tricky to find but you’re a block from the harbour and in the heart of the town. We spent quite a bit of time on the roof garden reading in the shade, when it was very hot. Our room had good A/C was always spotless and felt clean and fresh. Without a car you might not want to stay in Chania for longer than a week, but for a week or a short stay FHB is a perfect sanctuary.
