Nice but a few misses

Very nice business hotel, mostly in keeping with the Fairmont standard. However, there were a few misses, such as a rather uncomfortable bed, worn and dated furniture and windows that allow too much street noise into the room. On the positive side, the newly renovated bathroom is very nice and the shower is spectacular. Service is excellent all around. Can’t beat the location either.

My fiancé took booked a room at the fairmont Winnipeg on the gold floor for my birthday and the hotel was beyond incredible and one of our favourite places to stay. It feels like a home away from home and we always have the best memorable time whenever we are here. The room was decorated and I received a piece of cake in the room for my birthday. It’s the little things that count and the staff at the Fairmont Winnipeg make it their privilege to go the extra mile. We will never stay anywhere else and will always celebrate our milestones here.
