Overview

The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort features 153 guestrooms and suites for families. Guestrooms can sleep up to four guests and offer king or queen beds, mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Suites can sleep up to 10 people, and some come with full kitchens and all the essentials, as well. Fun Fact: During his campaign in 2008, President Obama stayed at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

The resort has two large pools and two mineral soaking pools, two indoors and two outdoors. They are all open 24 hours a day and are complimentary for guests of the resort, though the public can also access them during certain hours for a small fee. One of the pools also has a large waterslide. Local attractions to explore near the resort include Butte, Montana, just a short drive away. There, families will find the World Museum of Mining and the Mineral Museum.

Onsite dining is available in the Mile High Dining Room (dinner), the Springwater Cafe (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the Whiskey Joe Lounge (snacks, dinner and drinks).

Additional perks at this property include a fitness center and free parking. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.

Very nice Resort.

The rooms are very nice and clean. Beautiful view from our room with a wall of windows. The pools we nice, we used the inside pools and there were very few people using them while we were using the pools. There are pools outside as well but the weather was bitter cold . The food was great! The portions were large with great flavor. The Gift Shop had lots of "fun treasures" that I have not seen in other gift shops. The prices were reasonable too. Very pleasant friendly and helpful staff.

We enjoyed a few days here with our grandkids, 12 and 14. Loved the outdoor hot springs pool, especially on chilly nights. Room was not the most up to date but clean. Front desk staff was helpful and kind.
